A tiny electronic device

Gadget is actually a technical term. It is a tiny electronic device with a special function. In spite of the size of this technological appliance, the uniform function of all gadgets is somewhat of a radical feature. Because this technological tool is supposed to be devised in a more complicated or you can say a clever way than other technological devices are generally made. It has been made possible due to the advancement of inventory study in electronic engineering. Some people often refer to a gadget as gizmo. It was as early as with the beginning of the 19th century that the word gadget found its usage in the market. However, it is interesting to note that the first nuclear bomb was given a nickname by the Manhattan project’s atomic scientists and it was the gadget!

Days have changed. Now it is the era of computer technology. Gadgets play a vital role in this particular field of technology and add more features to that technology in a groundbreaking way. However so far as the computer engineering is concerned, the gadgets, which are used in computers, are generally known as USB gadgets. The USB is just a by-pass way via which a gadget can be connected to the computer, just as an LED light connects itself to the computer. The full form of USB is universal serial bus, which provides electrical energy to the gadget so that it can function properly. Engadget is a US based technological weblog.
